Stage 2 Ascender Leaf Spring Kit

Eliminate the rear shock towers, take off the rear body mounts, and still keep a fully functional rear suspension with this Stage 2 Kit. This kit will give you billet aluminum parts to make your full rear suspension sit on leaf springs and uses oil filled shocks out back on a new bridge. This keeps the rear frame of the truck flat and easy to build an interior pan.
This conversion kit keeps the same wheelbase you currently use on the Ascender platform, whether it's the Blazer or the Bronco, or a custom body with the same link setup.
The kit contains all the items to assemble the truck, and we offer a Tamiya 9808091 leaf spring option to add to your kit. If you want to use a softer leaf spring, we recommend the Red RC4wd or TF2 leaf spring. You can also tune the suspension using helper springs under and over the main leaf.
There are 3 positions for mounting the front spring hanger, as well as the rear swing hanger. Use these 3 positions to tune your wheelbase and adjust for the leaf spring length.
